The MDE will begin the implementation process with K-2 in 2011-12. It is anticipated that grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12 will follow the same basic pattern with improvements that are learned along the way.  All grade levels will be trained by summer 2012 and will have completed follow-up activities by the summer of 2013, well before the 2014-15 start date of the new assessments.
