Utah Standards History
Utah formally adopted the Common Core State Standards August 8, 2010 by the Utah State Office of Education with implementation for the 2013-2014 school year.
Utah Assessment History
Utah joined the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) but withdrew the membership in 2012. The state currently uses the Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence (SAGE).
